ኢትዮጵያዊቷ አይንአዲስ ተሾመ በ2026 ቶሮንቶ ዋተርፍሮንት ማራቶን ላይ ትወዳደራለች፡፡

የፊታችን ኦክቶበር 18/2026 በሚካሄደው የቲ.ሲ.ኤስ ቶሮንቶ ዋተርፍሮንት ማራቶን ውድድር ላይ የሚሳተፉ አትሌቶች ስም ዝርዝር ይፋ እየተደረገ ይገኛል፡፡ የውድድሩ አዘጋጆች በዘንድሮው ውድድር ላይ እንደሚሳተፉ ይፋ ካደረጓቸው የአትሌቶች ስም መካከልም አይንአዲስ ተሾመ የመጀመሪያዋ ኢትዮጵያዊት ሆናለች፡፡ አይንአዲስ በቶሮንቶ ዋተርፍሮንት ማራቶን ተሳትፎዋ ግብ ዙሪያ ለአዘጋጆቹ በሰጠችው አስተያየት ኢትዮጵያውያን እንስት አትሌቶች ያስመዘገቡትን ድንቅ የማሸነፍ ታሪክ ለማስቀጠል እንደምትሻ ገልፃለች። የዓለም አትሌቲክስ ‘Elite Label’ እውቅና ካላቸው ውድድሮች መካከል አንዱ በሆነው በዚህ ውድድር ላይ ከተካሄዱት ያለፉት አስር ውድድሮች ሰባቱን ያሸነፉት ኢትዮጵያውያን አትሌቶች ናቸው። አይንአዲስም ይህን ውድድር ማሸነፍ እና የውድድሩ ክብረ ወሰን የሆነውን 2:20:44 ሰዓት ለማሻሻል አቅዳለች። በ2026 ሴኡል ማራቶን የግሏ ምርጥ በሆነ 2:20:51 ሰዓት ስድስተኛ ወጥታ የነበረችው አይንአዲስ የአየር ሁኔታው ምቹ ከሆነ የውድድሩን ክብረ ወሰን የመስበር ዕድሏ ሰፊ ነው።

Ethiopian Ayinadis Teshome will compete in the 2026 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon.

The list of athletes participating in the upcoming TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon, scheduled for October 18, 2026, is currently being released. Among the athletes announced by the organizers, Ayinadis Teshome has become the first Ethiopian woman confirmed for this year’s race. Speaking to the organizers about her goals for the event, Ayinadis expressed her desire to continue the remarkable winning legacy established by Ethiopian female athletes. Ethiopian women have won seven of the last ten editions of this race, which holds World Athletics ‘Elite Label’ status. She aims to win the race and break the existing course record of 2:20:44. Ayinadis, who finished sixth at the 2026 Seoul Marathon with a personal best time of 2:20:51, stands a strong chance of breaking the race record if weather conditions are favourable.
